Taylor’s Senior Shoot

Taylor, her mom, and I had a fun morning yesterday. The weather was absolutely perfect for shooting. We decided to do the out and about session which included unlimited outfits and unlimited locations. We shot half in the studio an half on location. Downtown Akron was a perfect choice for the first outdoor portion and a local softball field was the second. Since Taylor has been playing softball since she was 5 years old the field was a definite appropriate choice. Please leave us a comment to let us know what you think! ~ jenn

Miss Lexi Senior Portrait

I had the pleasure of shooting Lexi’s senior pictures. We had such a blast going to downtown Cleveland and taking pictures around the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, the “Free Stamp” sculpture, Edgewater Park, and the piers and docks down by the harbor. It was a perfect day outside, not to hot and not too cold. There were a few clouds in the sky that allowed us to get some nice even lighting throughout. On some of them when we were out on the lake the sun was shining so bright because of the reflection off the water. Luckily though, it made for all the prettier senior pictures in downtown Cleveland!

These are a couple perfect examples of my destination session. Lexi and I decided to go to Edgewater Park after we left downtown Cleveland, shooting outside the Rock Hall. Lexi is totally rocker chic.

Downtown Cleveland, right by the "Free Stamp" sculpture by Claes Oldenburg. That area is so fun to take pictures around! It's right by the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame.

The "Free Stamp" by Claes Oldenburg was our awesome backdrop for Lexi's senior photos in these two pictures. It was so fun shooting in downtown Cleveland!

Sometimes it amazed me how much Lexi, for her senior pictures, was so comfortable in front of the camera!

One thing I love about shooting my destination sessions in downtown Cleveland is the pier and the HUGE chains! The post was taller than Lexi!

The cars were bustling in the background which made for a fun downtown Cleveland backdrop for her senior pictures.

Lexi and I went to downtown Cleveland to do her senior pictures. This would be considered a "destination" portrait session.

Miss Brenna Senior Portrait

I’ve decided to post a few of my favorite shoots from earlier this year. This is Brenna who was one of my students when I did my student teaching in art. She was looking for senior pictures that looked different from her classmate’s and also reflected her personal style. She and her mom seemed very pleased with the way the pictures turned out and the ease of being able to view and order everything through my website. I wish Brenna the best of luck with all her future endeavors. ~ jennifer M
