Wyatt Turns 1!

Wyatt, as most of you know, is the brightest light in my life and my nephew. I love him more than I ever knew I could love something or someone. He brings joy to my heart not only every time I see him, but every time I even think of him. I had the privilege of taking his 1 year photos (as well as all the other photos associated with his life and any previous events leading up to him ;)… The red barn images were taken in my back yard in Copley where I live on 5 acres.

My brother Mike purchased this International tractor on Ebay and then restored it to even better than new condition. Wyatt isn’t quite big enough yet to ride it, but he’s getting there quickly!

Clearly Mike is an International tractor fan and has a big boy red International tractor of his own. 😉

We swear we did not style his hair like that! For some reason it just went into this centralized plume on the middle of his head!

The one and only! Cry baby bridge! Yes, honest! That’s THEE Cry Baby Bridge, in Doylestown! I hear it’s totally haunted. Good thing we were there during the day. In order for me to get this shot however, I had to get into the river and frogs and fish were nipping at my feet!

This is probably my favorite one, Wyatt’s engaging eyes with the camera and the size difference of the hands holding.

“I want to be just like my Daddy when I grow up!” Well Wyatt, your dad’s a pretty cool dude!

The Ruffers were so much fun to photograph! Luckily we chose the most perfect day to shoot! It was a warm day for this colorful fall Ohio photoshoot. They are exceptionally photogenic and very comfortable in front of the camera which is always an added bonus!

It pays to live in Ohio when it’s the middle of October and the leaves give the most vibrant of backgrounds. I love being an Akron Family Photographer on a day like this!

The Knapp Family Fall Photoshoot, Akron Ohio

The Knapp Family’s Fall Portraits in Akron

Earlier this year I had the pleasure of meeting Pam and her daughters, Lexi and Brooke. Pam’s husband’s birthday fast was approaching so they decided to give him a beautiful portrait for his birthday present. We had fun with the shoot in the shed that used to be my studio.

He loved the image of his special girls and now has it on the wall at their home. We all got along so well that Pam and her family came back for more. This time for a fall family photo shoot. Again, we had a blast, cracking jokes, lots of laughs.

They’re like, “You want us to lay on the ground and take pictures of our feet?!” But they went along with it and ended up really liking the picture!

I love the spunk that this family has. I swear I didn’t have to pose them one little bit for this one! That’s some sassy Akron family photography!

I love the love that shows through with Bob and Pam. You really can tell how much they care about each other. Having loving parents is so important to have in a happy family.

Beautiful Leilani Adelle New(ish)born Photoshoot in Houston, TX

Leilani Adelle is the beautiful baby girl of my gorgeous cousin Aja. She and her husband Ross live in Houston and I had the pleasure of taking a trip down to visit them. Leilani, who is now five weeks old, is still young enough that she sleeps a lot but when she was awake she would stare at me and coo and do those cute little baby whimpers. I have to say, there is something therapeutic about having a sleeping baby on your chest. I hope you enjoy viewing these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them! xoxo ~ Jenn

Do you remember my blog post from a couple weeks ago on Angela’s Maternity? Well, here is the result from that maternity: Miss Emily Sweetness! Please help me welcome this wonderful little girl into the world by checking out the photographs below and leaving a comment if you like!
The reason I especially enjoyed this newborn photoshoot was that I could really feel the comfort in the house for the new arrival even from Emily’s very young older brothers. They were so mindful of their little sister and so loving and ever so innocently wanting to peek in on their sister’s very first photoshoot. I could tell that Mom was so happy to finally have her precious little girl who could enjoy the perfect bedroom that she prepared for her. Thanks again for letting me share this special time with your family.

It pays to be a family photographer in Akron on a day like this. When you have such a cute subject to photograph in Akron it seems the pictures become so easy to take! Sienna fell in love with the waterfall and at the end of the photo shoot and did not want to leave! I had a blast taking the pictures of someone so cute and such a pleasure to hang around.
