Lexi’s Senior Pictures!

I’m so glad Lexi and her mom sought me out to capture Lexi’s senior pictures. Her mom Julie told me that Lexi was looking for something a little different that what she’s seen with many of the other photographers they researched. She said that she liked “my style” and from what she gathered from my website, thought she would like my personality! Win-win!

I had no idea what Lexi was looking for, so I just did my thing. She was incredibly easy to photograph and often from certain angles reminded me of a young Charlize Theron! I loved her style just as well.

Lexi chose my platinum package which includes multiple different locations in and around Akron, both in studio and on-location. I treat this package similar to a model photoshoot. The outfits are essentially unlimited, but usually end up being around up to 5 total.

Because wanted both architectural with lots of grungy textures and also nature, we were hiked to a variety of different locations which gave her a super wide range of looks for her senior pictures!

She specifically wanted a sunflower, but luckily we found a really cool wild flower field!

Mario’s Senior Portraits

Hannah + Olivia Senior Twins

Wadsworth Senior Twins, Hannah + Olivia

I had the pleasure and privilege to photograph my good friend’s twin daughters recently, Hannah and Olivia, from Wadsworth. They are graduating seniors, class of 2017. I have watched them grow up over the years and am proud of who they have become. They are beautiful both inside and out and their parents should be (and are) very proud of the young ladies they are today. I am excited to see what the future holds for them as both prepare to go on an exciting journey to college next year. But for now, they are enjoying their senior year to the max! Did I mention my mom is a twin as well? The bond that twins share is like none other. They are closer to each other than any “singleton” will ever understand. It’s quite amazing, really.

Kayla’s Senior Shoot 2

Miss Kayla, one of my reps, totally brought it for her senior shoot! We were in my backyard in Copley, with the red barn and cows in the background, and then we went to Akron, near my studio to contrast country and city.

John’s Senior Photography

John’s Winter Senior Pictures Shoot

John’s shoot was super fun because it was a little bit of an adventure. Right before he arrived for his indoor/outdoor shoot it started to snow. By the time we were shooting outdoors it was practically a snow storm at some points! Good thing I was wearing my snow “boots with the fur” (although I don’t own any apple-bottom jeans). John kept an upbeat attitude when trudging through the snow even though his were definitely not anything near snow boots! – Copley High School.

Taylor’s Senior Pictures, Akron Ohio

Taylor, her mom, and I had a fun morning yesterday. The weather was absolutely perfect for shooting. We decided to do the out and about session which included unlimited outfits and unlimited locations. We shot half in the studio an half on location. Downtown Akron was a perfect choice for the first outdoor portion and a local softball field was the second. Since Taylor has been playing softball since she was 5 years old the field was a definite appropriate choice.

Lexi Senior Pictures, Downtown Cleveland

I had the pleasure of shooting Lexi’s senior pictures. We had such a blast going to downtown Cleveland and taking pictures around the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, the “Free Stamp” sculpture, Edgewater Park, and the piers and docks down by the harbor. It was a perfect day outside, not to hot and not too cold. There were a few clouds in the sky that allowed us to get some nice even lighting throughout. On some of them when we were out on the lake the sun was shining so bright because of the reflection off the water. Luckily though, it made for all the prettier senior pictures in downtown Cleveland!

Brenna’s Senior Portraits

I’ve decided to post a few of my favorite shoots from earlier this year. This is Brenna who was one of my students when I did my student teaching in art. She was looking for senior pictures that looked different from her classmate’s and also reflected her personal style. She and her mom seemed very pleased with the way the pictures turned out and the ease of being able to view and order everything through my website. I wish Brenna the best of luck with all her future endeavors.
